This comfortable house has been designed for a retired couple in Texas. It features main gatherings and social spaces. Also, we designed it to enjoy stunning views from the rear and added a Covered Patio. It showcases traditional low pitch roofs that create a horizontal facade. We created a vertical element with columns and beams breaking the overall horizontal line and defining the Main Entrance.

From the Main Entrance, we get to a Foyer that works as a prelude to the Great Room. The Great Room is a large container of all the social activities. The Dining Room, Living Room, and Kitchen are right next to it. We have a set of windows and glass doors that open to the Covered Patio from the Great Room.

On the exterior, we went with Tan Stucco and added Brick accent walls. In contrast, we decided to go with black frames and trims on windows and doors. Even more, we went with the black shingles roof that, in addition to the brackets and extended overhangs over the windows, gives it a contemporary flare
